Is Taco Tuesday an American thing?
Individual franchises of Wyoming-based fast food restaurant Taco John’s first started using the term in late 1979 and the early 1980s, with an Indiana franchise being the first. Taco John’s was granted a trademark for “Taco Tuesday” in 1989, and defended against other restaurants using that phrase.

History. Corn dogs were first introduced by German Texans in the 1920s. The corn dog was first made as just a sausage rolled in cornbread battered and fried. Many years later, sticks were added to corn dogs as a unique food-holding tool that would later create the modern corn dog.
Some fun facts about apple pie?
The first apple pie recipe was printed over 630 years ago in England in 1381. The list of ingredients included good apples, good spices, figs, raisins, pears, saffron, and cofyn (a type of pastry crust). Early English apple pies had no sugar because sugar was very expensive.
